To print the exact number of pages that you want, you can use Page Break Preview view to quickly adjust page break.  In this view, manually-inserted page breaks appear as solid lines. Dashed lines indicate where Microsoft Office Excel will break pages automatically.

Page Break Preview view is especially useful for seeing how other changes that you make (such as page orientation and formatting changes) affect the automatic page breaks. For example, changing the row height and column width can affect the placement of the automatic page breaks. You can also make changes to the page breaks that are affected by the margin settings of the current printer driver.

1)  On the View tab, in the Workbook Views group, click Page Break Preview.

You can also click Page Break Preview Button image on the status bar.

2)  Do one of the following:

·               To move a page break, drag the page break to a new location.

·               To insert a vertical page break or a horizontal page break, select a row or column below or to the right of where you want to insert the page break, right-click, and then click Insert Page Break on the shortcut menu.

·               To remove a manual page break, drag the page break outside of the page break preview area.

·               To remove all manual page breaks, right-click any cell on the worksheet and then click Reset All Page Breaks on the shortcut menu.

3)  To return to Normal view after you finish working with the page breaks, on the View tab, in the Workbook Views group, click Normal.

 

132- Hiding and zooming Play Video

Show or Hide Workbook Elements:

1)    Click the View tab.

View a workbook in full screen without the Ribbon, tabs, and toolbars:

1)           Click the View tab. Click the Full Screen button

2)    To exit Full Screen view, 
           right-click on the worksheet, and then click Close Full Screen

Change the View with statusbar:

1)    To zoom out, click to zoom out. 

2)    To zoom in, click to zoom in. 

3)    To Slider, drag to zoom out or in to the percentage you want.

Change the View with View tab:

Create a Custom View:

1)  Click the View tab.

Type a name for the custom view. Clear the Print settings check box and the Hidden rows, columns settings check box.

4)    Type a name for the custom view. 

5)    Clear the Print settings check box and the Hidden rows, columns settings check box.

6)     Click OK.

Click OK.

 

Show a Custom View:

1)    Click the View tab.

2)     Click the Custom Views button.

Click the View tab. Click the Custom Views button. Click the view you want to display.

3)    Click the view you want to display.

133- Windows panes Play Video

The windows allows me to see different areas of my sheet at the same time. So what we are really doing is creating a duplicate of my worksheet so we can be able to manipulate independently from each other

·        Create copies of the worksheet by clicking new window so a new duplicate is created of a worksheet

·        Click on New Window another time

·        Click on arrange all so you can see all the sheets at the same time so you can move around all the windows.clicking on that will show you the four different kinds of arranging:

- Tiled: breaks out my window into equal dependent quadrants.

- Horizontal: presents more column but fewer rows also I can adjust each pane separately.

- Vertical: shows me more rows but less columns

- Cascade: allows me to see normal view of the worksheet , and to see any sheet I want just click on the top of it and it will be shown

·        You can work with each sheet separately from the other, also you can hide any sheet by clicking the hide button and unhide by selecting the unhide key.

In the view tab also you can deal with many panes such as:

 

Freeze and Unfreeze a Column or Row:

·        Select the column to the right of the columns or select the row below the rows.

·        To freeze both, click the cell to the right and below of the column and row

View side by side:

·        Ability to look at 2 panes side by side and compare the information

·        Click on side by side pane and will asks me which panes I need to compare

·        Select the pane that I want

·        Click ok

 

Synchronize:

·        When I scroll in a pane This option makes the two panes scroll together

·        If I’m looking to a row in the first pane it will be shown also on the same row on the other pane

·        To go back click on the side by side pane and deselect that functionality

Save workspace:

·        Allows you to save the file in a particular space you want so you can easily access to it

·        Give it a new name

·        Click save
