61- Templates Play Video Open a Template:
1) Click the Office button. Then click Open.
2) Click the Files of type list arrow and click Templates.
3) Microsoft Office templates are typically stored in the following location.
Create a Template: 1) Click the Office button. Point to Save As.
2) Click the Save as type list arrow.
3) Select Excel Macro-Enabled Template to create a template for Excel 2007 with macros.
4) Select Excel 97-2003 Template to create a template for Excel 97-2003.
5) Microsoft Office templates are typically stored in the following location: 6) In Windows Vista. C:/Users/your name/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Templates 7) In Windows XP. C:/Documents and Settings/your name/Application Data/Microsoft/Templates 8) Type a name for your template.Click Save.
Change an Excel Template:
1) Click the Office button. Then click New.
2) Open the template you want to change.
3) Make the changes you want to the template.
4) Click the Office button and then click Save As.
5) Click the Save as type list arrow and click Excel Template.
6) The location defaults to the folder for My Templates.
7) Type a file name. Click Save

Apply a Cell Style:
Ø Select a cell or a range.
Click the Home tab. Click the Cell Styles button.
2) Create a Custom Cell Style 3) Select a cell or a range.
4) Type a name for the cell style.
5) The Format Cells dialog box opens.
6) Click OK again.
Delete a Cell Style:
1) Click the Home tab.
Merge Cell Styles:
1) Click the Home tab. Click the Cell Styles button and then click Merge Styles.
2) Click the workbook that contains the styles you want to merge.
Modify a Custom Cell Style:
1) Click the Home tab. Click the Cell Styles button.
2) To create a new style based on an existing style, type a name for the cell style.
3) The Format Cells dialog box opens.
Remove a custom cell style from a cell:
1) Select the cell or a range.
2) Check the result.
